Todd Swinney has been involved in the sport of bodybuilding since 1978 and became an active competitor in 1980. As a teenage competitor, Todd envisioned a fitness center with a full functioning nutrition center as a part of the total operation. The nutrition center and fitness center would function as one, and therefore be able to cater to all the needs of the individual clients regardless of their goals or level of fitness. The results produced for the individual from this type operation would greatly exceed the results produce by commercialized mass marketed programs. In January of 1993, Todd opened just this type of operation. Maximum Fitness functioned fully as this type of an operation and in 1996, Todd took his operation, his knowledge and his clients one step further when he joined forces with top ranked IFBB Professional Bodybuilder Kevin Levrone and his World Gym Fitness Center. Currently, Todd works his magic in the 17.000 square foot WORLD GYM in Severna Park, Maryland.
