I've only had the privilege of training at Doug’s gym a few times in the last year as an out of town guest (5X). However, I have been able to continue to train with Doug in spirit on my own (via his website) and through the help of a local CrossFit affiliate. I credit Doug and his training regiment for my increased fitness level and weight loss. To date I have lost 27 pounds and I am no longer intimidated by the idea of running a mile, then completing 100 Pull Ups, 100 Push Ups, 100 Sit-ups, and 100 Squats, and then running another mile. This summer I will be completing 2 "sprint" triathlons, as well as the 25 mile Tour de Cure. I know that without Doug's intervention I would probably be 27 pounds heavier and a lot less fit. Anybody who has the opportunity to train with Doug, should.
